"Welcome to Outburst Border Collies"

Outburst was established in 1990 and is located in Athabasca, Alberta, Canada on a 170 acres of lake front property. We are a kennel that loves to compete with our dogs in whatever events they enjoy. Outburst is a small breeding program that strives to produce Border Collies of exceptional conformation and temperament. Our goal here is for the betterment of the breed with each litter and to produce genetically sound, healthy dogs for show, herding, performance and most importantly companions.

We only have puppies occasionally as our litters are carefully planned to meet the high standards that we set for ourselves. We breed strictly for the passion and love for this wonderful breed. All our puppies are AKC and/or Canadian Border Collie Association registered and are out of parents cleared of any known hereditary diseases. Our puppies are sold only to approved homes under strict contracts. We have high expectations of our puppy owners as we want the very best for them. We ask that you understand the need for reservations for a puppy as we can't guarantee what mother nature will bring. It is our goal to produce Border Collies that will be loving members of your family and will be able to provide you with much joy for many years.
